PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The MBM Destroyit 4005 High-Security cross-cut paper shredder is tested and rated by the NSA to shred 24 Reems per hour at 8 sheets per pass. 

Destroyit® super micro-cut (SMC) shredders produce a shred particle that meets the standards of the highest DIN security level (P-7). All SMC models meet NSA/CSS specifications and are US DOD approved. 

The Destroyit 4005 features a large shred 44-gallon container for long extended operation between bag changes. It also features an extremely powerful 2 1/8 HP continuous-duty motor and a patented SPS® (Safety Protection System) safety shield in the feed opening.

"Easy Switch" control element uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status. The MBM 4005 SMC has an automatic reverse and cuts off power in case of the paper jam. The 4005 SMC also has an automatic power cut-off when shred bag is full or when the cabinet door is opened. 

Destroyit shredders have an energy-saving "sleep" mode after one hour of inactivity. Useful "ECC" (Electronic Capacity Control) indicator helps prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity levels during the shredding process. The Destroyit 4005 SMC Cross Cut has a built-in automatic oil injection system that ensures optimal performance and protection for the lifetime warrantied cutting cylinders. The 4005 SMC cross-cut shredder has a wide, 16" feed opening and high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts.
