INTIMUS XLM 17.00 Smart Shed

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The XLM 17.00 shredder is equipped with a ferrous magnetic separator that allows for the destruction of complete ring binders, they are extracted by the magnet separator during operation, protect the secondary shredder. It also increases the lifetime of the cutting block. All sheet steel covers are equipped with quick release fasteners for quick service. The Intimus XLM 17.00 can Sheds Paper, Boxes, Binders, Floppy Disks, Tape Media, Etc.,

All functions are controlled automatically by the integrated Siemens S7 1200 series PLC.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

• Featured with Smartshed touchscreen controls with session logging, maintenance reminders, and increased cutting efficiency
• Shreds Paper, Boxes, Binders, Floppy Disks, Tape Media, Etc.,
• Two shredding steps: From primary shredder – 1 3/16” strip cut – particles fall onto a conveyor belt and are transported directly to the cutting shafts of the security shredder
• Automatic feed of material to pre-shredder via large feed conveyor and hopper
• PLC-control with touchscreen
• Precision cutting cylinders made from special hardened steel allow for high throughput volumes with minimal wear and low power consumption
• Especially suited storage and compacting equipment is recommended for further processing of shredded particles. Simple storage solutions (containers), as well as specially configured compacting equipment for volume reduction can be supplied upon request.
• XLM shredders are equipped with an integrated magnetic separator. Obsolete ring binders, patient files and other records with metal reinforcements for hanging file folder cabinets no longer need to be sorted out for the removal of integrated metal components.
• Scrapped metal parts are collected in a mobile receptacle, from which they can be disposed of
