PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

NSA evaluated and listed as well as DOD compliant, the Proton T-4 hard drive degausser permanently erases data from hard drives. 

Proton uses a patented system to safely and permanently erase data stored on a wide variety of hard drives and magnetic disks. With a 20,000 gaus positive field and a 20,000 gaus negative field, the T-4 uses a bi-directional field to wipe out data. 

Protons patented "Reverse Polarity" makes their products stand out from other degaussers. 

The user's interface is an LCD screen so the operator can monitor performance and verify when a job is complete. This feature allows the degausser to perform to NSA specifications and removes the requirement to use a separate gauge to check strength while in the field or to go through additional re-certification testing.
